The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort just announced the dates for this year’s Food & Wine Classic!
Plan your fall trip to the Walt Disney World Resort for November 8-9, 2019 and you can get even more out of Food & Wine season at the 10th Annual Food & Wine Classic at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin! Overnight packages are available now, along with tickets to one of Orlando’s best foodie events of the year at swandolphinfoodandwineclassic.com.
This event is a great opportunity to try lots of different food and wines due to its open atmosphere and unlimited tastings. Guests with tickets are able to sample unlimited treats featuring culinary delights from the resort’s award-winning restaurants (including Shula’s Steakhouse, Il Mulino, and more!) and wines from around the world. The entire event is held in the resort’s causeway, which makes for beautiful photo ops with the palm tree-lined walkways and the resort’s architecture, and it also creates a totally festive atmosphere with live music and entertainment, and a beer garden!
Like the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic comes complete with interactive seminars and tastings. Be sure to check the official event website for details on schedule times for seminars and tastings and to book ahead to make the most of your visit.
Tickets for the tastings and access to the beer garden are $145 per person (includes taxes and fees) and tickets for seminars may incur an additional fee- be sure to check the website for details as you plan your visit.
Overnight packages for the weekend can also be booked by contacting the resort at 1-888-828-8850. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is the perfect resort to host this event each year, as it rounds out a trip planned around the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and it gives guests and opportunity to enjoy the resort’s top-notch culinary outlets. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is home to 17 restaurants, featuring more than 70 certified sommeliers and about 1,400 wine selections!
If you’re thinking about planning a weekend trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, this event is really the perfect excuse to do so! Fall is our favorite time of year to visit with the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival already running. And we always recommend staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin during Epcot’s festivals so you can easily walk (or hop on a boat) to the park, so planning your trip around this weekend would be the perfect fall trip!
