5 Favorite Walt Disney World Table Service Restaurants

Hello everyone! I am glad to be back with another post! Here I have some of my picks for 5 incredible table service restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort! I still have plenty of restaurants that I want to try in the parks and at resorts, but here are just some of my favorites.

1. Via Napoli
For me, a trip to Epcot is never complete without a visit to Via Napoli in Italy. I am 100% Italian, so I know good pizza and Italian food. Let me tell you, Via Napoli is true, authentic, Italian cuisine. The dishes are amazing, but I highly recommend getting the pizza. It is incredible. I could probably live off it for the rest of my life.

The authentic, thin-crust pizza offered at Via Napoli comes with all sorts of different toppings, from the usual varieties of cheese and pepperoni, to favorites like Margherita (topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil) and other delicious pies like the Picante pizza with spicy Italian sausage or Carciofi pizza, a white pizza topped with artichoke, fontina, mozzarella, and truffle oil.

2. Le Cellier Steakhouse
As a signature dining experience, Le Cellier is pricier than my first pick, but if you’re looking for an upscale steakhouse meal while wandering through World Showcase this is the place to be. With small nods to Canada, such as some specialty drinks, beers, and desserts, and the design of the dining area so that each section of the room represents a different province of Canada, this restaurant has a warm, cozy feel in comparison to others in the park.

Steaks cooked to perfection fill the menu, and it is worth every penny, especially if you think you may order the restaurant’s signature entree, the filet mignon with mushroom risotto. Other guest favorites include a couple of types of poutine, along with cheddar cheese soup, best served with used as a dipping sauce for the complimentary pretzel bread.

3. Yak and Yeti

Yak and Yeti is definitely the place to go for a fun, family-friendly Asian dining experience at Walt Disney World. (For a more upscale, or perhaps couples’ night out you may be more interested in Morimoto in Disney Springs). Located in Asia near Expedition Everest, Yak and Yeti serves up Asian-inspired classics like honey chicken, Miso soup, and Kobe beef burgers.

The other neat thing about Yak and Yeti is that it is actually part of Landry’s Restaurant Group, so if you’re able to score some discounted (or not) Landry’s gift cards, which are usually sold at wholesale clubs like Costco, you’ll be able to use them at Yak and Yeti. (This would also work at T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe!)

4. San Angel Inn Restaurante
San Angel Inn, located in Epcot’s Mexico pavilion, lets guests enjoy authentic Mexican food while overlooking the water and backdrop of the beginning of the “Gran Fiesta Tour” boat ride. The atmosphere in this restaurant may just be one of the most well-themed dining areas at Walt Disney World– from the nighttime marketplace feel to the waterside dining, and of course some excellent margaritas to compliment the meal, San Angel Inn is perfect for a family lunch or a later dinner-date.

Favorite menu items here include some of the best enchiladas around, tacos, and a variety of steak, chicken and seafood dishes, along with some complimentary chips and a couple of types of salsa, and specialty margaritas.

5. The Garden Grill

Everything about this restaurant just gets a 10/10. The menu changes based on which fresh ingredients are available, always including bread and salad to start, a main dish with various sides, and a dessert. And the best part of a delicious meal here is that everything is served family-style and all-you-care-to-enjoy, so you’re always able to order some more of your favorites!

Everything is locally raised and grown at Epcot’s “Living with the Land” attraction and is fresh and delicious. The restaurant also slowly rotates in a circle, and at one point you are dining above a scene of the ride. And on top of all of this, it’s character dining!
